The Ultimate Industrial Visit – Science and Safari Ride
Starting March 2026, Biotech R & D Laboratories cordially invites students from all interested departments to a one-of-a-kind industrial visit that blends technical training with an adrenaline-fueled jeep ride to a waterfalls.
Phase 1: The Lab Masterclass (The Science)
Step into our state-of-the-art facility to demystify the core of molecular separation. This is a hands-on workshop on Electrophoresis Techniques.
Students will:
Master the Run: Learn to cast perfect gels and load micro-samples with precision.
Optimize Parameters: Understand the physics of voltage and buffer chemistry for high-resolution results.
Analyze Results: Use UV transillumination to interpret DNA/protein bands.
Phase 2: The Jungle Adventure (The Fun)
Once the lab coats come off, the real roar begins! We are hosting an exclusive post-event Jeep Safari. Buckle up for a rugged, fun-filled ride through the dense jungle trails as we head toward the majestic Kiliyur Falls. Feel the spray of the water and the thrill of the off-road tracks—the perfect way to celebrate a day of hard work and scientific discovery.
Important Logistics
Please note that students must arrange their own transportation to the following points:
- The Lab Gate: For the technical session at Biotech R & D Laboratories in Yercaud Town
- The Safari Gate: For the commencement of the Jeep ride to the Kiliyur falls at distance of 4 kms from the Lab.
